Intro to All-Grain Brewing (social distance version) November 14th, 2020 at 9am

This class is intended for extract brewers looking to move into all grain, or those that have recently began all grain brewing and would benefit from a more in-depth understanding of the mashing process.

Intro to Kegging class July 25, 2020 at 9am

This class will cover "gas to glass" utilizing ball lock corny kegs (most common for homebrewing) and standard faucet assembly and cleaning. Purging technique and keg disassembly and maintenance will be explained as well. We welcome those that are ready to make the switch from bottling, as well as those very new to kegging.

Intro to Homebrewing class(social distance version) Nov 14, 2020 at 9am

This class will be entirely geared towards beginner homebrewers. It will be very laid back, but educational as well. We will cover extract brewing and bottling basics, and hands on interaction will be encouraged to aid in learning. We will be brewing an extract recipe during the class that will be split between all the attendees to take home and ferment and later bottle to enjoy and share with friends!

Afford-a-Brew  Cidermaking with Jero March 21, 2020 at 9am

We will be offering a special class this spring focusing on Cidermaking, with special guest Jero! Many of you have sampled some of his cider in the store. Samples of his cider will be given as well and homebrew bottle sharing is encouraged! This class will focus on his preferred process for making your standard hard apple cider and other fruit flavored ciders.

Afford-a-Brew Intro to Mead and Winemaking May 16, 2020 at 9:00am

This class will cover some of the history behind mead and wine, and dive into the process from creating a must, stabilizing, fining, packaging, and aging. Anyone new to winemaking will enjoy this class, as well as those that brew beer and are curious about other types of fermentations. The class will include the making of a full 6 gallon batch of wine, or a batch of mead.
